No. You can make your own video or record it directly on the application site. Either way, your video must be no longer than three minutes. Both teammates must appear in the same application video, and only one video can be submitted per application.

Be yourselves and bring energy! We want to get to know you as individuals and as a team. Show us your personalities, your relationship, and what makes you excited to race together.
Here are a few things to focus on:
-
Your relationship: How do you interact with each other? How will your relationship help you win, and what might challenge you?
-
Your stories: Use real-life examples to show us who you are. We love a good story!
-
Your background: Tell us where you’re from, what you do, and which skills or life experiences could help you on the Race.
-
Your competitive side: How will you approach the competition and interact with other teams? Why do you want to win?
-
Why now: Tell us why doing this together is important to you right now.
We want to see both teammates talking, interacting, and being themselves. A photo montage generally doesn’t help us get to know you as well as seeing you on camera.

Lighting tips
-
Film in a well-lit space, with the light in front of you so we can clearly see your faces.
-
Avoid standing in front of a bright window or filming with the sun behind you, as this can leave your faces in shadow.
-
When filming outdoors, film during the day for the best lighting.
Audio tips
-
Speak loudly and clearly.
-
Do not add any music to your video.
-
Find a quiet place to film. Avoid loud or crowded rooms, windy spots, and distracting background noise.
Camera tips
-
Film horizontally (landscape), not vertically (portrait).
-
Your video must be 100 MB or less and in one of the following file formats: mpg, mpeg, flv, avi, mp4, mov, 3gp, wmv, mv4.
